About the field: Solar energy is one of the high tech fields with lot of potential for growth. This is also one of the innovative areas, which help the country develop and compete with western countries in near future.
Job function : Developing and maintaining a high profile dealer network in your district and evangelizing Solar Electricity Solutions at village and town levels.
Salary : Rs.10,000 per month Salary in probation period of 6 months, later increased upto Rs.40,000 per month based on the performance. Additional perks based on performance.
Qualification : Electrical Engineering/MBA Sales or Marketing. Excellent oral/written communication skills in your native language (one of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Tulu, Malayalam, Konkani) and English are required. The knowledge of computers (MS excel, PPT, Word etc.) is a must. Excellent arithmetic and analytical skills are required. In short, you need to have Entrepreneurial abilities to be successful in this very innovative job.
Additional Requirement: This position involves lot of local travel (could be to remote villages/farms within your district) as well as frequent travel to Bangalore. You also need to be very proactive in communication skills as it involves communication with 30-40 dealers on daily basis. Since most of the work is done remotely from the head office in Bangalore, availability over phone and internet are required.
Experience: Doesn't matter as long as you possess above skills to the expected level of maturity.
Job Location: You will be working from your home for 3 weeks in a month and the one week from Bangalore (accommodation provided by the company).
Training: Initially 1 week training will be given by the company on Solar Energy and Indosol Energy products. On the job training will be provided in marketing strategy and process orientation. More internal/external trainings (eg. Mini power plant installation, Renewable Energy Audit) will be given based on the requirement.
Number of positions: 3 at present. More will open in next 3-6 months.
